Team Page

If there was anything I would change it would be due dates for the team page. For each individual part I would have a certain date so we would be on a tight schedule to make sure it was done in time. It would help to keep students on track to they would get everything they needed done in time.

Blocked Sites

I use http://mrsunstudios.com/ to help me make and fix parts of my game. This site was blocked and I found out that it is currently unblocked. It will allow me to fix my game and finish it with no bugs. Another site that would be useful is http://flashgametuts.com/, which includes tutorials.

Demo

I think that I am ready to present my demo to the Globaloria. Our game is close to being completed with just a few more scenes to be added and a few that need fixed. The game should be finished in a couple of weeks, and be ready to play.

Filming the Demo

Delay in conversation during is something that rarely happens, although it should never happen. This is because our computer network should be able to run without any problems for the whole year. The network at the school is unreliable to me because the wireless has gone down multiple times and now the whole computer network went down. The school network should never go down, and I also don't think we have the right safeguards to protect the school data. The school data has been accessed multiple times, but nothing has ever been taken.  The school system needs to be updated or reworked to make it safer, and more reliable.

I feel prepared to record my demo because we have the slides we need and a script to go along. Items that help me with my demo is being able to go backwards in my demo. The wiki helped me plan my demo because it told me what needed to go where and in what order.

Assembling the Demo

I have not learned more about my game topic from making my demo. This is because i have used the information that I knew to help make my demo, so I haven't learned anything new. I have also used code I already knew while making my demo file. I feel as though we have received small bits of information and then told to put it into our game. I can improve my self-learning skills by trying to research the thing I want to learn.

Animation

The link will take you to the game called Asteroids. This animation stands out to me because it is a simple game, though it takes skill if you want to do well on the game. The code would be simple, other than making the space ship move. this is what makes the game stand out to me. It is simple yet complex and this helps to make it fun and interesting. I enjoy working in flash because I can make objects move and also create games that people may actually play.

Sounds

I had a few errors with the sound but I found out how to put the sounds on a different way. I was not able to put the sound directly in the key frame, so instead I had to drag the sound to the stage and then drag it to the key frame where I needed the sound. I plan to use the sound in my game to let the players have a more realistic feel when they are playing the game. It is also a good way to make the transition between scenes more entertaining. It will enhance the game play of the game by making it more realistic, and help the learning part by also making it more realistic.
